You can be denied entry to the US even if you only have a residue of marijuana

Great forum and wanted to add this nugget of info that was recently in the Toronto Star: Provinces say they may need more time as liberals move to legalize marijuana (https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2017/04/13/provinces-bracing-for-impact-as-liberals-set-to-unveil-proposed-pot-bill.html)

Goodale said border-crossing Canadians should be aware the U.S. has the “sovereign right” to deny entry to people who admit smoking pot, but he clarified, “No one should lie at the border . . . , but each country establishes their own rules.”
