Fingerprints by Commissionaires. .?

Jimmycanuckposted 7 years ago

Does anyone know if the fingerprinting service at the commissionaires was acceptable for the I194 process? Used these guys to do my Federal Government Job application screening...just wondering if you know? Or who to call to find that one out.
Cheers

@philly can I ask what Buffalo lawyer you used? Where they good? And how much did they charge?

@Vancity Girl I'm in Toronto. I actually hired a lawyer in Buffalo, New York. I felt that an experienced immigration lawyer on the border that was familiar with cross-border issues was my best bet. Having said that, I'm still waiting for my waiver and its going on 9 months. I am still glad I went with a lawyer for the first time because there are certain aspects of the waiver application I would have done incorrectly. Hope that helps... Happy to share more if you need....

@Vancity Girl

Not many local 604 lawyer guys do US waivers ... Len Saunders is one in Blaine, WA...but he charges ridiculous amounts in the $10,000+ US dollars and he lost my friends case. The only thing he is able to get is where your file is in the department after 4.5 months....but anyone can get that info after their waiver packet gets to Herndon, VA.

@Vancity he knows a few guys, him or myself can help you, but if your really wanting a lawyer be prepared to drop atleast $10,000 + on a lawyer with no guarantees.

Best to do it yourself, and wait for DHS to give you a (Y) or (N) answer.

@Philly - Hey, are you from Vancouver? If so, I was wondering which lawyer you used? Thanks!

@Jimmycanuck - Commissionaires is fine! I used them for my waiver and it was prepared and reviewed by a lawyer. Good luck!!!

Didn't see them listed but maybe they are owned by one of the accredited companies. See this list:
