Got your I-194?

Reply here with how long it took. Months, weeks, days...

@Snoopy - Thanks for sharing. I was curious on the time line from when they mailed it.

I emailed ARO back in late February and they said a decision was made on my file and mailed out on February 21st. After reading others getting their mail with decisions made on the same day as mine, I emailed ARO on March 11th, approximately 3 weeks after my decision was made and let them know I have not received anything yet. They asked to confirm if I had a unit or suite #, I said yes and provided my condo suite # . They said upon investigation, a decision was sent out on Feb 21st but no suite # was added. They said they would resend! This was on March 14th.

I guess if it does not come in today or Monday, I will need to follow up again. I am surprised with the sensitivity and urgency of the material, they don't opt to use tracking. Would make our lives easier.

@Roger

I still can't beleive it! I am so happy!! May i suggest you call them and verify what happened to yours as it should have arrived already.

@Nancy @Snoopy

On which day did they mail out your decision? Thanks

Roger replied 7 years ago   #460

Where do you obtain an I-194 form.

Michael Peacock replied 7 years ago   #459

@Snoopy @Nancy

Thanks for sharing your good news and the fact that you submitted in November/16 and got them already.

Mine was submitted a bit earlier than yours but it's my first one, so hoping it isn't too much longer.

Hi I so anxious and nervous. I live 15 minutes from the u.s and I've never been there! I'm also waiting on uscis to decide on my immigration application. As far as I can see since Trump everything has slowed down.

Bunches99 replied 7 years ago   #457

Hang in there guys I'm positive it will arrive soon for you as well.

Snoopy replied 7 years ago   #456

@Snoopy - Congrats! :-)

I am also waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. It is taking a while. Really hope it comes soon!

Roger replied 7 years ago   #455

I've been reading this forum for the past few months and promised myself that when I was going to receive my waiver I was going to let everyone on this forum know the good news! Well it happened today - March 21st - I received it in the mail and I had to have my husband open the envelope for me as I was very nervous about the answer. Well it's good for 5 years!!! My second one (first one was for 1 year). I applied in Champlain NY border crossing on November 17th. The staff was very friendly and polite to me. I was reading this forum everyday trying to get my spirits up and keeping the faith that it was eventually going to happen. I read in one of the messages to let it be known for those who applied in November as to when they would receive it. Well I am here today to tell you to keep the faith and be hopeful that your turn will come sooner rather than later. It was a good therapy for me everyday to read your posts. Now champagne is on ice and we are ready to celebrate my freedom again!!! Cheers to all and thanks for all your posts.

I haven't been on here in a while... but figured I'd just check in.

Not much to report for me... still waiting (since November 2014).

I send an email to the ARO, every couple months.
I ask them specifically to check my file, to ensure that it hasn't been lost (because I can't imagine why it's gone on for 28 months), and I get the same reply:

Your application is on file with the Admissibility Review Office. It is currently pending further review. Do not reply to this message; submit all your inquiries to Inquiry.waiver.aro@dhs.gov

Thank you,
Admissibility Review Office

I keep hoping for a positive outcome...
However, over the past couple years, I've dicovered that Cancun is beautiful!

Does anyone have further information on the information shared by Philly (in post # 447)?

Hey all. First time poster. Great to see a forum of all of us who are going through this together. I filed a waiver application in July of 2015, received a request for a medical to be completed in January 2016, and still have not heard a word other than the standard responses that it's pending review.

This process has taken so long and I want to move on but I'm feeling helpless and stuck :( my lawyer has been very good to me but unfortunately can't tell me much. They send in an inquiry every so often but I'm getting nowhere.

This sucks! Happy to hear all of those getting their waivers though!

Submitted my i-212 application back in Dec 2014, over 27 month now and still getting the same reply " Your application was received and is being processed. Due to the individual circumstances of each waiver application, there is not a set timeframe to give as to when an application decision will be completed"
seems like my 5 years ban will be over before ARO decides on my I-212 waiver

Prince replied 7 years ago   #450

Nobody received Dec filled up. So waiver

Samianauman replied 7 years ago   #449

Has anyone who applied in October, received their waiver? Besides the 2 individuals on the previous page.

A decision was made on Feb 21st but have yet to receive my waiver.

Roger replied 7 years ago   #448

@hawk @eve

I ask for an update every 6 weeks and get the same answer every time. I am lost as to what to do. I'm considering just resubmitting and eat the $565 I spent. I might try Eve's idea and call the consulate in Toronto if I can get through. I think it got lost a long time ago and it just shows as pending further review every time I inquire. Of course none of the people at ARO would actually bother to look into it. Maybe I should email them every day until someone either tells me f**k off or they actually look into it and give me a proper answer.

Figman replied 7 years ago   #447

@Figman

Have you considered contacting a local US Embassy to inquire given the length of time, and recent announcements about over 12 mos applications being turned around in 60 days?

eve replied 7 years ago   #446

FIGMAN

How often are you emailing for updates?

Hawk replied 7 years ago   #445

@philly

still no waiver applied March 31, 2015!!!!!

Figman replied 7 years ago   #444

Someone mentioned they applied on Oct 1st and got their waiver!
