Got your I-194?
Reply here with how long it took. Months, weeks, days...
@Jag SIdhu - try emailing them and ask them to maybe fax you a copy

Thanks so much for the information. I will check the passport . Definitely it was not on the receipt . I will call the Rainbow bridge office if still cannot find it. Submitted on July 28 2016, emailed a couple of times always the same line pending for review
Feeling very depressed .
@nina514 I am in SW Ontario.
@Orchid168 Check your passport on the pages stamped by the CBP. They will often write your A number below the stamp. It is a 9 digit number.

@Lashes
It's true, and most are getting 5yr, but not all. Probably depends on why you're inadmissible
@Orchid168
When I submitted my I-192 at the POE, they gave me my 'A' number and wrote it on a sheet of paper with information and my receipt and how to contact the ARO
Submitted early Nov/16, first waiver and still waiting. I email once per month and started at 5 months (150 days). It's now 8 months.
Hi guys. Sympathize with you all here.
I applied in early Jan, and have heard absolutely nothing yet. Getting worried at this point, as I have no criminal record so processing shouldn't take that long...
On another note, I found the below info at the following link:
http://srwborderlawyers.com/blog/2016/9/13/exciting-favorable-changes-at-the-aro
Can anyone confirm whether this info is real or not?
“At a recent liaison meeting between AILA and the CBP Office of Field Operations, CBP’s ARO announced a significant change in practice.
Beginning in January 2017, the ARO will approve all I-192 waivers – initial waivers and renewals – for a 5 year period, with limited exceptions.
For individuals with waivers pending for over 1 year, the ARO will issue a decision within 40-60 business days after receiving a follow-up inquiry from the applicant or attorney of record."
Please get back on this, at least for the ease of mind...
And for those doing renewals, I read somewhere that each renewal is regarded as an applicantion in itself, and not truly a "renewal." This means that whether they'll approve of the waiver this time has little to do with whether they have done so in the past (but it could be the case that generally, most that have had approved waivers in the past tend to continue getting them).
Hope the info helps.
Can anyone share how did you get to know your A number? we submitted almost a year ago in July 2016 at Rainbow bridge, emailed ARO office 3 times:
in Oct 2016, no reply
in Jan 2017, reply was 'Your application is on file with the Admissibility Review Office. It is currently pending further review.' from an individual ARO officer's account
in May 2017, reply was 'Your application is on file with the Admissibility Review Office. It is currently pending further review.' from the ARO email account
we never got the A number.
Has anyone ever contacted an ARO officer directly before? what was the experience?
thanks,
