Got your I-194?

Reply here with how long it took. Months, weeks, days...

Replies (recent first):

Honestly there is no set time when they will even decide. It could be tomorrow or 2 years. You just have to wait. You can email them but it doesn't seem to help. There is nothing else you can do. Just wait. I know its hard but that's all you can do.

@GTA
Yes I basically said yes to section 212 prostitution and I signed a paper because he said that's the only way I will catch the last flight .
Now it's been 9 months and still no answer
I don't have a criminal record it's basically my words and my signature that I'm a prostitute .
What happens now how long does it take for a answer ?

@GTA
Correct they ask me to see my pics at first o refused but then I said I will show it to a woman officer . They were 5 guys just laughing and talking about me the hole time finally the woman came she saw my phone . After that I went in the room and yes I admited to receiving money from a guy that I know for 12 years he send me a western union 2 years ago thenhe kept saying don't worry it's ok you can do that in Canada but I know you don't do it on the states ???? My parents are US citizens they live in Palo Alto . I was going there for the Selena Gomez concert with my 11 year old step sister and they saw everything . N e way I did mention that this is not right and I want a lawyer they wouldn't accept it. Just say yes to 212 over n over so I said yes I don't know what else to do !! I was tired

Wow! As a fellow girl I am so sorry to hear you were treated that way! That's absolutely disgusting! I hope you are approved and have no further issues like that.

Bunches99 replied 6 years ago   #558

@Tara Toronto

I think you admitted that you were basically involved in prostitution. You should have let them see your pics and answered no to receiving money from a guy. The USA doesn't like prostitutes. You will now have to file for the I-92 for a lifetime. First ones are good for a year and the max for renewals are 5 years. They can also refuse your waiver too.

Making a complaint will not help your cause. For the USA you are an alien and admitted to committing an act which is illegal in the USA, the border patrol guy was on a power trip and well you lost the battle. They have all the authority to refuse you entry. You are an alien and you have no right to a lawyer or anything.

Considering that some States have legalized weed, Nevada has legal prostitution in most counties and Canada is getting there as well, we can only hope this non sense stops soon.

He said that if I don't cooperate I can't never get in the states so I believed him
I didn't think that a officer would lie to me like why would he I have done nothing wrong. Now I have payed my lawyer about 2500$ to write the i192 and send it to them I didn't know that I could have done it myself I'm really sad I don't know what to do . I don't know anything about the law never had any problems with police or anything like that . Someone said that I should make a complaint but I feel like it will make things worst also after the questions the officer was singing the song Maria Maria and telling me that I look like a " champagne type of girl "
He also asked me what kind of position I do in sex ..... I told him that this had nothing to do with me entering the state and that is wasent right for him to ask me that ...

Hi I was stopped because the guy there wanted to see my Instagram page and my pictures and I said no then I asked for s woman and it took about 6 hours then i was put in a room the guy kept telling me that I will loose my ticket if I don't cooperate but that he will put me on the last flight then he said if I ever received any money from a guy I said yes in the past he said something line 212 I kept telling him I don't understand what that is he said say yes and you will go on your flight so I said yes and then he stopped talking to me he said that I can't get in the state

New guy here :)

Filed 3rd waiver application with U.S. CBP in Port Huron, Ontario on February 13th, 2017.
Hoping to post good news in the coming weeks.

Here is some background because I would like to hear if others have experienced the same.

This is my 3rd waiver application. My first 2 waiver applications were prepared by a company called Trusted Pardon Services. Both were successful.
1st - Filed Oct. 18, 2011 - granted 1yr waiver dated Feb. 6, 2012 (3 months, 3 wks)
2nd - Filed Feb. 6th, 2013 - granted 3 yr waiver dated Jun 24, 2013 (4 months, 2 wks)

The delay with the 3rd application is that Trusted Pardon Services essentially stopped operating in the middle of compiling my application. No opportunity was given to obtain all the files and information they had so I could at least continue on my own. After repeated attempts to contact them i decided to start the whole process over again on my own. I'm over this now, but I was furious for a long time. I delivered my 3rd waiver application, as indicated above on February 13th, 2017

And the wait continues...

Bunches99 replied 6 years ago   #552

I don't have a crimininsl record or judgment

Tara Toronto replied 6 years ago   #551

Got a one year waiver today after one year waiver expired already. I was told to expect five years when I applied at the border around mid January. It was a simple possession charge that led to a $100 fine 40 years ago. I guess they were wrong. I did see five years given both first and second time so I was hopeful

Hey Guys!!

Received a letter yesterday dated May 15/17. One Year Waiver Approved! First time applying. I did the application myself and applied on January 3rd 2017 at Pearson Airport. It was this forum that helped me out tremendously in putting together my package. Although I wish I received a 5 year like I have heard others on here are getting, Im super excited!! Looking for flights to NYC as we speak! Don't let anyone tell you you cannot do this yourself!!

Best of luck to you all!!

Maritimer replied 6 years ago   #546

5 year waiver today I mean****

Cad88 replied 6 years ago   #545

I applied in January. I recieved a 5 year waiver. I'm really impressed with the speed of the process and the outcome. I wonder why it's gotten so much better? Anyway, my first time I only got 1 year and it took 6 months to process. (2 years ago) good luck guys! seems to be going super fast and everyone is getting 5 years!!

Cad88 replied 6 years ago   #544

Your application was received and is being processed. Due to the individual circumstances of each waiver application, there is not a set timeframe to give as to when an application decision will be completed.

And

Your application is on file with the Admissibility Review Office.  It is currently pending further review.

What is the different does any1 knows
