Bunchess99
When did you applied
I applied 4th dec
I send one email 3 weeks ago got replied next day but same reply as you mention waiting if someone received a reply from dec then I will send another one
Have You emailed? I Did and was told it's being reviewed. I will email again the first Monday in May.
Looks like no one getting waiver now days last I heard was 29th nov does anyone received anything after that
Update us when you receive your waiver and looks like now they are working on December waiver hopefully
Concerned I may end up in your boat too. I waited the 150 days and just inquired. Got the generic 'no set time frame' message, so no idea what part of the process it's in. Others that applied around the same time have received theirs, but this is my first one, so who knows how long it may take.
Philly, thanks for keeping the faith and checking in.
Patience,
Bummer that you haven't got your response even though it was posted 16 days ago, I have had an envelope take 21 days from Vancouver to Texas, so it's possible it's still on it's way.
I'm trying not to stress about it even though it would be awesome to have it in my hands today, but I've set in my mind to not even bother thinking about it for another 2 weeks, hopefully then it'll just show up.
Cheers,
Kiwi
@Kiwi, it seems like we (Kiwi - you, Philly, and Patience - me) have been waiting forever... keep us informed when the decision arrives.
I first applied November 2015.
With that said;
I did get a response, saying that a decision was made, and was mailed on March 20th.
I go home at noon, every day, and check my mailbox... nothing there.
According to US Postal Service / Canada Post, the absolute longest a standard letter should take to get to Vancouver is 10 business days. It's now been 13 days, and I figured it's been long enough, so I just emailed them back. I reckon they've either mailed it to the wrong address (I've lived at the same address for 15 years), or it's lost in the mail...
Either way, I've asked them to re-send it. I also asked if I could pay an extra fee to have it couriered overnight. Seems crazy that they would just use basic USPS letter mail to send such a sensitive document.
I send a email to aro applied on 4 Dec 2016 rainbow bridge got this reply
Today
Your application was received and is being processed. Due to the individual circumstances of each waiver application, there is not a set timeframe to give as to when an application decision will be completed.
What do u think how long would it will take that's my 3rd waiver
First time waiver applied 4 1/5 months ago, got it yesterday valid for 5 years
I applied 27 months ago (Dec 2014 at Vancouver Int Airport) and finally got a positive response to my inquiry, this is the message I received today.
“On APRIL 03, 2017, a decision was mailed to the address of record provided on your application.”
I'll keep my fingers crossed for a 5 year visa waiver.
