Hi John Rogers how do I contact you my phone or e mail ?

Sonia replied 4 years ago   #1701

I had 2 clients go to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. (Niagara Falls)

It was very busy (client said 3.5 hours.) This is very unusual. I have never heard of anyone waiting before.

most interesting was that this client is very chatty and friendly and the Homeland Security officer told her that the idea with the new forms is to make the submission digital in July.

According to her:

-You would scan the package to Homeland Security.
-If accepted they would call you to come and get fingerprinted (and I assume pay)

I have no idea if this is true, or she misunderstood, or this will be the way to do waivers in the future.

Has anyone heard or read anything like this? Again, this is ONE client, from yesterday, relating what a friendly officer told her.

Update: Unfortunately, none of my clients have received any replies to trace emails since the beginning of May. If anyone is still receiving replies to their traces, could you please let me know. Thanks!

#1725, Thanks John, I am still using the old forms, but am switching this week, I have been hesitant to not send the G-325 with the new form, but will now delete it from the package this week also.

Michelle replied 4 years ago   #1698

@EVERYONE

My apologies to whoever it was that said they thought the G325-a was no longer needed. (Michelle also speculated on this)

This is from the Homeland Security Website:

Form G-325A is not needed when filing the most recent version of the Form I-192. However, the ARO will continue to accept older versions that still require a Form G-325A completed and signed by you

I am a little worried about the border knowing about this, and since my clients have to travel an hour to Niagara Falls I am going to continue to give them a G325-a until the end of June. But starting in July, I will omit this document from the package.

@John Rogers

Well I figured if anyone would know it would be you. Thanks for the reply. Is this something you could conceive they may add on to the new waiver form or possibly in adjudicating the waivers may add it on as a request for evidence?

If one has been denied entry already I really don't see why the Trump Administration would not look for ADDITIONAL reasons to not let one back into the country even through the waiver process.

Adelaide replied 4 years ago   #1696

@Adelaide

I am not sure to be honest. My assumption would be that they have already denied you entry, therefore no need to look for another reason.

I better stop bashing Trump on my Facebook! LOL

@John Rogers

Do you know how this or if this pertains to waivers for Canadians as well?

SRL...what did they say when they asked for the letter and RCMP check? What did the request say?

John Rogers replied 4 years ago   #1693

Hi. I was asked for additional information, a letter and another RCMP criminal record which has now been completed. Any idea what my wait time will now be? I submitted my application in February and it was 3 months later they requested this information.

SRL replied 4 years ago   #1692

@jazzsax1

This is my second waiver. The first one I received was for one year and the second one I just applied is for 5 years. Did the application myself. I hope this helps!!

@AshleyBanks

May I ask what you needed a waiver for and how long was your ban for?

Just curious.

Adelaide replied 4 years ago   #1690

@Sha - was this a first time or renewal?

jazzsax1 replied 4 years ago   #1689

Received 5 Year Waiver. Applied March 27/2019 and received it in the mail May 17/2019. Applied at Buffalo, Lewiston Point of Entry. Very fast turnaround time. Good luck to everyone out there!!

Sha replied 4 years ago   #1688

No problem John thanks again !

AshleyBanks replied 4 years ago   #1687

@AshleyBanks

I seldom get clients as motivated as you are to do anything to make the waiver work. You have worked hard to prepare, and provide the "raw material" to give yourself the best shot at getting a positive result. If the waiver is approved, you deserve a lot of the credit as well.

I will always try and be as honest as possible about a persons chances and if they should try for a waiver. But once the client decides they want to try, my goal becomes 100% giving them the best chance of success.

@AshleyBanks, thank you for the kind words.

John Rogers replied 4 years ago   #1686

This is not a question about a waiver but this is a recommendation. I did not get asked to make this message so please do not go after John. I do want to make any one that is banned or that was refused entry into the US aware that if you are looking for help with a waiver and do not know who to trust. Please go to John Rogers. Especially if your are located in the GTA area. I was completely fooled by a company called pardons applications of Canada. I was very eager to get back into the states and my application got denied. I tried to apply right after being banned. I have been following this forum for quite some time since my first application got denied (for obviously applying too soon) and have bothered the shit out of John for my particular situation (i bothered him for almost 2 years lol). He could have taken my money and done a waiver for me but he highly suggested that I wait and not apply yet. Fast forward to today. John has prepared my waiver and I will be dropping it off next week. For my particular situation another person on this forum was granted a waiver after waiting 4years. I am very confident in John’s work that I had to point this out, for there are alot of people that take your money already knowing that u don't have a chance. John is very knowledgeable about waivers and I’m in complete shock at how well his work is. There’s nothing that he could have done better, this waiver he put together for me was done flawlessly.

AshleyBanks replied 4 years ago   #1685

One of my very first clients handed in his Waiver at the Rainbow Bridge on March 21 and got it on Tuesday, so about 8 weeks total.

He has an old criminal record, nothing very serious.

I am still telling people "90 days or less" but for waivers that are being approved without secondary security, 60 days seems the "normal time" right now.

John Rogers replied 4 years ago   #1684

@Dustin can you forward me the email they sent you? Sounds like you have to apply for a replacement. pardon.experts@rogers.com
